Dagombas must rally behind the new Yaa-Naa for peace and development - Bugiri Naabu

The immediate past Northern Regional Chairman of the NPP, Daniel Bugirì Naabu, has called on Dagombas to rally behind the newly enskinned Yaa-Naa of Dagbon in order to attract the needed development to the area.

Speaking exclusively to the Voiceless Media in Accra, "The Bulldozer", as he is affectionately called by his admirers, explained that the worst times for Dagbong was the Abudu-Andani era and has therefore called on Dagombas to henceforth see themselves as Dagombas and consign factionalism to the dustbin.

Chairman Bugiri NAABU, who is also a member of the National Council of the NPP representing the Northern Region, has commended President Nana Addo for what he described as monumental achievements in two years of his administration which he described as unprecedented.

Aside restoring peace in Dagbong through the performance of the funerals of the late two Yaa-Naas and the enskinnement of a New overlord for Dagong, Chairman NAABU also praised President Nana Addo for creating two more Regions out of the current  Northern Region, namely, the Savannah and North-East. He added that the new Regions will bring accelerated development to the area.

The National Council member also used the opportunity to urge Ghanaians to take full advantage of the very nice policies the Nana-Bawumia led  government was implementing
to better the lives of Ghanaians.

Chairman Bugiri NAABU whose tenure as Regional Chairman saw the NPP won more Parliamentary seats in the Northern Region and much appreciation in the Presidential votes, assured that he will offer his rich political expertise to the current managers of the party in the region to achieve even more in the region.

Chairman Bugiri was also sure that former President John Mahama will not go beyond leading his party as flagbearer and indicated that the Presidency was far away from him.
