Bugri Naabu,Former NPP Northern Regional Chairman Has Denied Claims He Is Behind Recent Attacked Of The Tamale Teaching Hospital CEO.

Former NPP Northern Regional Chairman has denied claims he is behind recent attacks masterminded by some youth of the ruling party on key government institutions in the region. Chairman Bugri Naabu said his enormous sacrifice to ensure NPP's victory in the last election means he will not do anything to incite hatred for the party.
Earlier this month, a youth group affiliated with the NPP attacked the administrative block of the Tamale Teaching Hospital, chased out the Chief Executive Officer and put his office under lock.
High Powered security delegation led by the Northern Regional Minister, Salifu Sa-eed, eventually visited the hospital, unlock the CEO's office and reinstated him with the regional police command making some arrests to that effect.
But some individuals within the current leadership of the governing NPP in the region are alleged to be spreading information that the former chairman instigated and bankrolled the rampaging youth to stage the attack.
An Aid to the contractor - turn politician in an exclusive interview denied Bugri's involvement, and said he was not even aware of the incident until it became national news.
Shiraz Simak SK said the individuals making such allegations were engaging in wicked fabrications to tarnish the Chairman's hard won reputation.
Mr. Shiraz SK, revealed Bugri Naabu was very instrumental in securing the embattled Dr David Akolbila his current position as CEO of the TTH and could have had no interest in his removal.
Shiraz Simak is therefore advising current leadership to desist from maligning people and rather  concentrate their efforts at improving the fortunes of the party in the region.The special assistant revealed Chairman Bugri may not be holding an executive position, he is still in touch with the rank and file of the party's support base ahead of election 2020.
Shiraz said Chairman Bugri spent in excess of GHc 100,000 on food items meant for distribution to Chiefs,religious leaders, constituency executives and party faithful to augment Eid - Adha celebration. The items included over 700 bags of rice, cooking oil and a cash amount of GHc 20,000 which were distributed with the aim of consolidating the goodwill enjoyed by the New Patriotic Party during the last polls.
Shiraz said Chairman Bugri's commitment to the NPP's course is unwavering and will not be distrusted by any individual or group that spread falsehood with the aim of causing disaffection for him.
